Slow Stitching

This week, I finished the 3rd point for my QOV star quilt!
I also got a bit further on my hexie stars quilt:
I thought it would be fun to compare the size of one rosette of the hexie stars (1" hexies) with one rosette of the QOV star (2" hexies). Here's how they look side-by-side:
And finally, I worked a bit more on my embroidery for Winter Wonderland. I've started stitching the large snowman:

Happy (slow) stitching!

It's amazing the difference in the 1inch and 2inch hexies! I can't wait to see the QOV project come together--it looks great so far.

hexies are coming along well, I am doing 1" ones but thinking about going larger as will be so much quicker. Love the red work too

Looking good! Interesting seeing how an inch difference in the hexagaon makes such a big difference to the size of the flower!

You are making great progress on all these projects... way to go!

Aren't hexies addicting? The little ones are so cute, but so much more time consuming. Nice progress on both sizes.

A nice busy weekend of stitching of all kinds. I really like the hexagon star point - didn't realize those were 2" ones. My normal is 3/4, but I did one project with 2" for embroidery purposes, and I loved it. I need to finish it, come to think of it. =)
