Hand Stitching

My 18-year-old daughter and I have been enjoying watching some TV shows together while we do handwork; she knits and I either do EPP or embroidery. I've started the third point for my QOV Star quilt:
I've also made some progress on my current block for Winter Wonderland. This fabric is about 20" X 22", but I think I'm supposed to cut it down after the embroidery is finished. Since I'm still embroidering, I haven't really paid attention to that part of the directions!
I'm linking up to:

Happy stitching!

Your red and blue hexies look great, as much as the redwork stitching.
Have a wonderful week. Hugs

hexies are good to stitch while watching tv or you have company, the Christmas project looks interesting, will be waiting to see its progress.

Your hexies are lovely, I really like your colour choice! And I'm a big fan of red work, so look forward to seeing this done.

I love the redwork; I've always been tempted to do a project like that. My local quilt shop offers classes every so often, but I just can't start another stitching obsession right now as I'm completely hooked on EPP! So nice, you can do creative things with your daughter. I remember crocheting with my mother and aunt when I was younger; nice memories.

I think the fact that you can do it while watching TV, and being sociable too, is one of the best things about hand stitching. Lovely hexies & embroidery!
