I've also made some progress on my current block for Winter Wonderland. This fabric is about 20" X 22", but I think I'm supposed to cut it down after the embroidery is finished. Since I'm still embroidering, I haven't really paid attention to that part of the directions!

Your red and blue hexies look great, as much as the redwork stitching.
Have a wonderful week. Hugs
So nice to be able to stitch with your daughter :)
Enjoy!
Great way to spend time with your daughter! You're creating beautiful projects and lasting memories.
How lovely to have a daughter to stitch with you! Looking forward to seeing your progress reports on both projects.
hexies are good to stitch while watching tv or you have company, the Christmas project looks interesting, will be waiting to see its progress.
Your hexies are lovely, I really like your colour choice! And I'm a big fan of red work, so look forward to seeing this done.
Great red, white, and blue fabrics!
I love the redwork; I've always been tempted to do a project like that. My local quilt shop offers classes every so often, but I just can't start another stitching obsession right now as I'm completely hooked on EPP! So nice, you can do creative things with your daughter. I remember crocheting with my mother and aunt when I was younger; nice memories.
I think the fact that you can do it while watching TV, and being sociable too, is one of the best things about hand stitching. Lovely hexies & embroidery!
The hexies are so fun and I LOVE the embroidery!
